Mullet bikes - yay or nay?
Never tried it

Fave trail on Prairie Mountain? (since they're "new")
That

Tech vs flow?
They both have their place and time but if I need to pick on I’d say Tech

29 or 27.5?
2021 will be my first season on 29” so ask again at the end of the summer ;)

Why do you ride?
Addiction, love for adrenaline, socializing, fitness and to push myself and capability

Fave feature on our network?
The last TTF I clear in my progression… currently the gap after the triple on Jean-Guy

How long they've been riding?
12 years

Riding goal for this year?
Clear more features, have more cardio to climb faster and longer AND being there to tow and help friends to be more confident in their riding! Overall, the goal is to ride lots and have fun!

Mullet bikes - yay or nay?
Whatever gets you riding and having fun! There’s a bike for everyone now.

Fave trail on Prairie Mountain? (since they're "new")
Loamzilla / Flows Diner are a nice double header combo. They have a little bit of everything.

Tech vs flow?
Tech. I like the challenge of the trail.

29 or 27.5?
27.5. A 29er would be like putting big wheels on a kids bike for me, the wheels are bigger than me.

Why do you ride?
Fitness, friends, fun, outside adventures, challenge… overall good times!

Fave feature on our network?
Not sure…..I’m still hesitant about “wet wood”!

How long have you been riding?
Since I could touch the pedals. And mountain biking since the only “tech” ride in the area was up and down moose packers…. on a fully rigid steel 26er with skinny mtn tires… mid 90s,  And have progressed from the XC race days of spandex to Prairie Mtn trails and baggies!

Riding goal for this year?
Advance my tech skills and ride more features. Ride more….!

Mullet bikes - yay or nay?
First instinct is nay, but I should probably try it first

Fave trail on Prairie Mountain? (since they're "new")
It’s impossible to ride Ushoulda without grinning the whole time. Wait, maybe that’s every trail I ride?

Tech vs flow?
Give me aaaaaall the janky, rooty, rocky tech

29 or 27.5?
At roughly half my height, I feel like 29 is just too big. I’ll try them someday, but for now... 27.5

Why do you ride?
It’s the perfect combination of my favourite things- bikes & mountains. I ride for the challenge, the adventure, the nature, the solitude, the community. I ride because it makes me happy

Fave feature on our network?
How to pick just one? The big root drop on Race, the two little senders on Ushoulda, my first real drop on T-Dub...

How long have you been riding?
2017 officially, but 2018 was my first real season

Riding goal for this year?
So many! The Toothless drop, clearing the Brothers chute, riding (walking) every trail in our network, 7 Prairie laps in a day

Nay

Fave trail on Prairie Mountain? (since they're "new")
Loamzilla or Brothers

Tech vs flow?
Flowy with a few tech sections? Is that splitting hairs too much?

29 or 27.5?
27.5 for the handling although, I have been doing a lot of online pandemic “window shopping” though and am willing to be convinced on the bigger wheels.

Why do you ride?
It's the perfect combination of technique, fitness, meditation/focus and time with friends old and new in what is perhaps the coolest setting to play in!

Fave feature on our network?
More of a “section” than a “feature” but I’d have to say the gully on T-Dub, asides from that

How long have you been riding?
Started riding ~8 years but the “obsession” started in the past ~3 years.

Riding goal for this year?
Improve my jumping/drops, enter 2 enduro races (if they are held), some of the drops and gaps on T-Dub. Most importantly break my record of 81 total MTB rides in spring/summer/fall ‘21.

Deven Stone - Trail Boss

Mullet bikes - yay or nay?
Tried the 26”-24” thing the first time we did this.

Faith Healer

Tech vs flow?
Tech gnar

29 or 27.5?
29

Why do you ride?
I have this feeling deep within, that when I am in the mountains it is where I am supposed to be. For me it is a connection with our wild ancestry. I love how thoughts of daily life disappear and you’re just there living in the moment.

Fave feature on our network?
Love me a good root double. Where 4th meets Faith there is a good one.

How long have you been riding?
I’ve been on two wheels for 31 years and counting.

Riding goal for this year?
Find the secret to my missing speed.

Mullet bikes - yay or nay?
Seems like an interesting concept.  I would totally give it a try.

Fave trail on Prairie Mountain? (since they're "new")
Hard to choose, but I think Pistolero. I love to get the flow going whipping through those trees.

Tech vs flow?
Tech, but I appreciate variety.

29 or 27.5?
I have been on 29r for the past 2 years, they do feel faster and I am fully used to them now. However, if I had a 27.5 foisted upon me I would very quickly get used to that again as well.

Why do you ride?
It’s my meditation, it’s my exercise, it’s my community, it’s part of my bond with my spouse and it rejuvenates me.  In recent years it has also become a source of income.  Something I feel incredibly fortunate about and would never have thought a possibility.

Fave feature on our network?
Changes all the time, but currently riding the set of two steep chutes at the top of Shhht.

How long have you been riding?
I have been riding mountain bikes on Moose Mountain for 24 years (as of the 2021 season)

Riding goal for this year?
Increase my skills on the bike just a bit more and let that translate to more comfort on features. I have been enjoying my gradual improvements and find myself riding things that only a few seasons ago I would have never considered.

I have an El Camino. All about the business in the front, party in the back, baby!

Brothers

Tech vs flow?
Jumps LOL

29 or 27.5?
27.5. Little wheels do dank whips.

Why do you ride?
Bikes have changed my life in so many good ways. Some of my fondest memories in this current chapter of my life are of party laps with my pals and shredding with the girlfriend. Keeping the rubber side down brings balance and clarity to my life that nothing else can provide.

Fave feature on our network?
Honestly, the big tables on Flight 66 near the elbow valley crossing. Probably the most session-able jump. It's helped me get a ton of new tricks to dirt and coach others. Yeah, progression!

How long have you been riding?
I went from a pathway booze cruiser to a dedicated mountain biker in 2013. 8 years!

Riding goal for this year?
Stack up some nugs! I want to score another Pinkbike POD/VOD with my pals.

YASSSS!!! I rode a mulleted Switch at Whistler years ago… Oh how the people would stare… who’s laughing now?!

Fave trail on Prairie Mountain? (since they're "new")
Flo’s Diner. It has a little of everything good.

Tech vs flow?
If I have to choose… Tech.

29 or 27.5?
27.5. 29-ers feel like riding a tractor.

Why do you ride?
Flow, fitness, friends.

Fave feature on our network?
Anything I haven’t hit yet! I love the anticipation of another goal to smash.

How long have you been riding?
If I can count the Walmart bike I broke to pieces on the single track in Lane Cove NP when I was 12; 24 years.

Riding goal for this year?
Ride more.

Would be interested to try one

Why do you ride?
At this point it’s an addiction and I just can’t stop

Some things are just destined to be!

Fave trail on Prairie Mountain? (since they're "new")
It was 4thhorseman for many years but Trom brings the biggest smiles and high fives these days.

Tech vs flow?
Technical delights please!

 29 or 27.5?
29’r if I was forced to choose but luckily you can have both!

Why do you ride?
Because I'm still inhaling oxygen!  The two wheeled life is my way to: have a continuous challenge, win at fun, chase the moment, explore the most amazing places and to be surrounded by the most awesome like-minded people.

Fave feature on our network?
Tough choice, would have to go with the whale tail jump line on t-dub just after the gully. I kept getting side tracked with other projects on the mountain when building this line but it was finally finished in 2012 after starting the build in 2007. Persistence paid off, nothing beats riding your own vision and seeing others still getting amped from that effort and execution really stokes me out!

How long have you been riding?
Have you seen my Penny Farthing?  Late to the game but trying to make up for it for the last 17 years.

Riding goal for this year?
To be healthy and relish in the fun and If that combo has me back descending a million vertical feet that would be cool!

Mullet bikes - yay or nay?
Apart from a stylish 80’s hair-do, I am not sure what this is…….

Fave trail on Prairie Mountain? (since they're "new")
The ones I can ride….(hint, not many!) haha probably USHOULDA, it’s a lot fun!

Tech vs flow?
Mmmm I like tecky flow - not sure if that is a legit thing but a nice technical line with some flow to it is sweet

29 or 27.5?
I just got a new bike with 29ers = a death trap! Not sure what I was thinking at the time...seemed like all the cool kids were riding them. I think I will switch back to my trusty 27.5s!

Why do you ride?
For the feeling of empowerment I get when I nail a trail.  For the clarity I feel when I'm in the “flow state” riding.  I'm an academic who loves to study and read so this MTBing thing puts me waaaaaaaaaay out of my comfort zone but my little type A personality drives me to push it!

Fave feature on our network?
More of a section, but when T-DUB meets SHAFT and you just fly outta there to the creek, that gets me pumped!

How long have you been riding?
I’m fairly new to the sport (pretty much learnt to ride a bike in 2017!)  but what I lack in skills I make up for in enthusiasm!!!

Riding goal for this year?
Not to end up in the ER for the 3rd summer in a row!! :D I have spent the last few summers mainly riding in Revy, Squamish and Whistler, so it will be nice to spend some time at home on Moose and Prairie this year.
