September Trail Day and Toonie Race
MMBTS will be having it’s final trail day of the year on Saturday September 11th. Come out and help groom the trails for the fall and the long winter ahead.
We’ll be meeting at the Ing’s Mine parking lot at 10:30 AM before splitting up into work crews for the various trails. As always MMBTS will have lots of extra tools to go around, so whether your a experienced trail building veteran or a first timer, everyone is encouraged to come out and help buff the trails. Like all of our trail days, their will be a post work BBQ at the end of the day with burgers for all.

Please note that our annual toonie race, which had been scheduled for the Sunday following the trail day has been postponed to early October. We have yet to decide on a trail for the race so feel free to nominate your favourite trail in the comments below!

hey it’s almost “early october” so when is the toonie race gonna be??
T-Dub with gully or Toothless through the old steep section.
I vote for t-dub or toothless…. they the more focused Dh trails out on moose and if they get a little torn up, i feel it would be better then on of the fast flowey freeride lines such a jean guy.
Damn…hit submit too early. Actually what trail doesn’t really matter. As long as we can get a large contingent of people to come out and race!!!!! Should be healed up by Oct!
#1 – T-dub
#2 – Jean Guy.
#3 – Toothless
Looking forward to the trail day.
I’m keen to try “racing” (and I use the term lightly for me) for the first time. My vote would be for T-Dub or Toothless…I have yet to completely flow thru Billy Dog (damn tight corner!) or JGOTR (damn huge rock!). Some things to work on this fall!
i vote for either jean-guy or billy dog. jean-guy is long steep and technical, billy dog is just a fun trail but lots of tight turns up top and some funky rooted corners at the bottom. i think that we should give t-dub a rest for the season it has been raced on soo much in the past, time for something new. lets show what other trails moose has to offer! i got my toonie right here and i’m gonna race!
Joker – click on “Trails” at the top of this page, then on “map”. Scroll down to view the map or download and print the PDF. Ing’s mine parking is on the Canyon Creek road. Go past station flats, past Paddy’s Flats and the Moose Mountain road, then turn right onto Canyon Creek road.
Hope to see you out there. See below, the BaSE is offering a ride for the transportation challenged.
Need a ride to the hill?
Or, just don’t want to pay for gas?

Where is Ing’s Mine parking lot?
I vote to race T-Dub and not the gully
