Friday, May 22
I plan to hit Billy Dog this coming Friday for some minor touchups.
-Flagging or something will be added in a few spots telling riders which direction to go. I believe parts of the old line are leading people astray.
-There are three spots where snow is still on the ground…under the snow was deadfall that that needs to be cut out so you don't have to get off your bike.
-Time permitting some woodwork might appear in the form of a bridge or two
-Two mandatory drops on the top section of trail will be made into rolldowns. Still huckable, but you will have the option.

-Two mandatory drops on the top section of trail will be made into rolldowns. Still huckable, but you will have the option. (DONE, but no huckable option on the second one)
Thursday May 28 plans:
-Some digging to fill in a berm on the new upper section.
-A small bridge to cross a harsh compression and runoff ditch a couple hundred feet into the old section of trail. (part of the “not done” item above)
-A minor re-route midway down the top portion of trail to improve flow and remove an uphill section.

I'll post pics tomorrow of the work…

I guess we're not allowed to post pics?
Work done on Saturday, June 27:
Added a small bridge just before the cutline where the trail crossed a harsh, muddy, little compression. Also re-aligned the trail to keep it less straight-line. Shortly after this will likely require some sort of berm or fill to give riders some backing on the off camber roots. Hopefully the roots can stay AND the berm can go in to keep everyone somewhat happy.
The first gapper on the trail has been finished. It should be hittable – just stay wide to the right & hug the little trees to get a straight line into it.

Work Done on July 27:
Last gapper on the trial was completed. It is about a 13-15 foot gap, trail speed, super smooth, and is affectionately named BBS (Barking Brown Spider).
Work Planned for August 11:
Second last gapper on the trail is to be completed. This will be just after the steep switchback and just before BBS. If anyone is cruising by this evening, stop in and lend a hand for a couple minutes – you could be the first one to hit it!

So, we didnt get the landing built so you'll be kickin it old school until next week when the landing goes in. It's not a very big drop anyways and you can ride around it and still hit BBS.
Someone stole the “Feature Changed” warning sign that we had put up. Classy. I hope to catch someone doing cool things like that one day.

Work done August 17th:
Second last gap on the trail is completed with tranny and ride-around. The landing shoots you into the BBS gap with perfect speed. It's not a long gap, but you still need a *bit* of speed to get to the tranny. You racer types might have to suck it up…
The Canyon Creek bed has been touched up so it should be rideable for most.

OK. The second gap in line on the trail is in. It's small and will eventually have a table installed, but it's in a slower area. Pics can be found in my Pinkbike album.
Upcoming work will likely be another gap going in shortly after this last one. Also some minor line changes up top might be implemented.
