There is still a lot of snow at the top of TW.  However, from the meadow opening down to the bottom is almost snow free.  The top might be a few weeks yet, but the bottom should be dry by next weekend.

Today we finished the offshoot section “tib-fib”.  The dirt on the landing of the table is soft and wet still, as is the dirt at the bottom of the wooden berm.  Also, whoever took down the wood that prevented people from riding the uncompleted table and berm, thank you for helping us by leaving giant ruts in the dirt.

Anyway, the wood berm is finished and should be good to ride when the top of the trail opens up.  There is a new step up with a small gap that is finished, and the last drop has been lowered so the landing can be spotted.  Everything is running smooth and checked with some test runs.  You can clear the step up gap with no brakes fairly easily after landing the kicker before.

TW is finally dry and rideable top to bottom…with the exception of about a 10-foot patch of snow.  The original gully line is still plenty white, but the benched re-route is in great shape.  Thanks to the trail crew that worked on this on the last trail day….it's nearly finished now and running great!
