Thanks. I figure thats one thing going for me is its pretty easy to spot.

Ill try to attach a picture, if you see it just call police, get a licence plate, break knee caps etc.....

Stolen this morning, July 28, from SE Calgary. Pretty unique bike these days so would appreciate anyone keepin an eye out on the trails or pawn shops etc. Its black / yellow with mag 30 wheels and a Shiver front end, ripped seat, Hayes etc Not alot of them around anymore. Pm me or call the police with any info. Some of you may have seen the bike at the poker run as I just started riding this year. Please dont mistake it for the one currently for sale on Pinkbike for $850, that bike has a different front end altho the same type rear rim. It was advertised before mine went missing

Just a heads up,

Last night, as the trail day was winding down, a black bear was seen on Ing's Mine Road, about 60m in on the trail side of the locked gate. It didn't appear aggressive.

Hey all, I'm headed out to Moose for the first time this year from Sylvan Lake, but all my friends bailed on me and I still want to go, does anyone want to shuttle or ride together thursday or friday? or both (i'm a fairly capable rider and should be able to keep up...i hope) . I'm gonna head to Paddy's flats to camp there Thur, Fri, & Sat. Unfortunately I have only a 2 bike rack tho, but we can certainly abuse my Jeep as the vehicle at the bottom.

Participants, volunteers, sponsors and donors,

I would like to thank all participants and donors in the 2010 Freeriders For Child Find charity race. It's because of people like you that this organization can continue to provide free eduction to the public about prevention of child abductions and child exploitation. Child exploitation is commonly called child or child sex abuse and is a growing concern in today's society, whether you know it or not your contribution will make a difference.

As this was my first ever attempt at a race event I am sure there will be growing pains; however we were able to put this event together in about 4 weeks this year so I am hoping now that I have a year to plan the next one it will be even better.

With that being said I would love positive, constructive feed back/ critisim on what was good with the event and what you feel may need improvement.

To start I will say I have heard several people ask for it to be a 2 day event; 1 day of practice and registration and one day of race only. This is more then likely going to be implemented for next year.

A special thanks to Reg at MMBTS and Doug Zech and Loyal Ratte with ADHRA for all they're help in making this happen.

I will post how much you all helped us raise in the next few days when I get a final tally.

A big thanks to Chance Hirsch and all the volunteers that helped put on one hella fun time yesterday out at Moose. The first ever Child Find DH was a big hit thanks to the efforts of Chance and Loyal Ratte they worked their butts off for four weeks to bring the race together on a stellar day. Lots of sweet prizes, free Frosters from Macs and good eats too. If you didn't come out you missed a great day and the opportunity to support a great cause.

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone went to moose often and would let me and my brother tag along. I am 15 and don't have my license yet so I couldn't shuttle. I'm not really familiar with Moose, but I'm willing to learn. But if someone was gracious enough to let us tag along that would be awesome.

Thanks to Chris Wells , Don Murat and Curtis the teeter works wicked i could not have gotten it sweet with out u guys. The people out yesterday didn't need free beer or hot dogs to make it WORTH it Because building is its own reward. Cheers to all the builders out yesterday!!!!! There needs to be a plan for next trail day so if there are not the best conditions , people that would like to tough it out with the hard core's can . I talk to at least six people that were out just for fun that would have built if we could come up with work for them. If there is a plan let me know. I have a few thing i need to finish on "That " that could be added to the plan. P.S. if the road opens next week but the trails are muddy and still have snow on them PLEASE Don't ride the out of them , one week end could make a lot of difference between ruts and wash board and erosion. Once the road opens its a free for all. we can only control this as a community Respect to the trails.

This forum is for posting safety related matters. If you are out riding and see a safety related problem that needs addressing, please report it here. If you see loose stones or a fallen tree in a jump landing zone or just around a high speed corner, that is a safety concern that needs addressing as soon as possible. Please take care of the problem yourself if you can, so others won’t be injured. But if a chainsaw is required to remove a fallen tree, please report that here. If a Technical Trail Feature looks like it is damaged or deteriorated, please report that here. If you have concerns about other safety matters, maybe a fall zone that needs additional clearing, this is where to let us know. MMBTS will call in a trail fairy to put things right.

However – don’t report on maintenance items here. For example, if some brake bumps need buffing out or some drainage fixed or there is a fallen tree, but it is easily visible from ahead and not in a landing zone, those are not safety matters, but trail maintenance items that should be reported in a trail maintenance thread.

We hope you join and support MMBTS, but if you aren’t a member, or don’t want to join this forum, please still report safety matters to info@mmbts.com and put “Safety” in the subject line. When reporting a problem, please provide as much detail as you can about the location.
